brand design for a fountain pen shop

Zsombor approached me because he wanted a brand identity for his brand and webshop that offers fountain pens, notebooks, art papers, and inks, which would help him position his brand higher, and after expanding the product range, conquering a new market is also among his near-term goals.
 
He really liked my works and he saw the interview with me, so he definitely wanted to work with me.
All our meetings went smoothly, he provided the customer's information quickly and completely, and he also made quick but carefully considered decisions every time.

The brand shows a lot of dualities: its customer base is approx. half women and half men, the pens are used both for artistic and everyday use, moreover, the fountain pen itself is a legacy of the past, evoking classic times, while nowadays it is an accessory of a modern, slowing down lifestyle, that helps to be valuable self-time and experimentation.

That is why this duality appears in the logotype. Most of the fonts are an elegant serif font family, while the letter "g" is a sans serif in a great style.
The logo symbol is a combination of sign & and the letter S, while the favicon is a cleaner version of it.
The colors are sand, beige and shades of blue: elegant, modern and natural at the same time.
This brand design process included the colors, the logo and its versions, the favicon, Facebook cover and profile picture, Instagram profile picture and highlight covers, as well as covers for the website. Offline: Designing the business card.
